Dear Charlotte – Neil and I would like to thank you for
all your efforts in organising the perfect wedding day for us in Lindos.
From our initial consultation we set very high expectations and probably
drove you mad with our attention to detail; as you have come to realise,
I am a perfectionist! But all credit to you and your team as you
exceeded our expectations and ensured we had an amazing wedding day with
memories to last a lifetime. We are still on cloud-9 and family and
friends have commented on what is probably the best wedding they have
ever experienced; that is partly because of your hard work and
expertise. I would thoroughly recommend Exquisite Wedding Services to
any couple wishing to marry in Lindos. So thanks also to Anne and your
husband "the skipper". You make a great team! For anyone
looking to create a romantic ambience for their wedding, then the
setting of St. Paul’s Chapel and Lindos is idyllic and quite simply
breathtaking, and this is evident from our photographs and DVD footage.
With regard to our photography, we are so glad we booked the full day
package, and have nothing but praise for the photographer and his
assistant. The photos are truly remarkable and far better than we
expected, and the DVD fully professional and a fantastic memento of our
day. It has really captured the essence of the occasion. On this note we
highly recommend this photography package, as your clients will not be
disappointed with the output! A useful hint for brides to be; if you
have specific types of photos that you would like to capture then try
putting together a photography mood board. We did this by cutting out
clippings from wedding magazines and I think this really helped the
photographer understand and meet our requirements.
The champagne boat cruise is also a must and was definitely a highlight
of the day. The cruise created a really relaxed atmosphere and enabled
all our guests to unwind and mingle, although this may have been a
result of the free flowing champagne! The addition of the accordionist
for the full day is also highly recommended; this was an unexpected
surprise for our guests and definitely added to the occasion, especially
during the wedding party procession through Lindos village to the
Arhontiko restaurant. The Arhontiko, a sympathetically restored
Captain’s House was also an excellent recommendation. If you want to
create a rustic, yet elegant, atmosphere then this is the place for you.
It provides the perfect romantic backdrop for your wedding. The fine
food also comes highly recommended by all our guests, not to mention the
wonderful and attentive staff.
I must also mention Anna the hairdresser, who spent the afternoon at my
hotel accommodation and really entered into the spirit of my wedding
day. Not only did she perform the bridal and mother of the bride
hairdressing, but she also helped us both get ready and kept us calm and
relaxed along the way. For that kindness and assistance I could never
thank her enough!
Charlotte, thank you once again for all your support and patience in
understanding our requirements and helping us create the perfect day.
The service we received from you was very professional, yet personal. We
are so glad we hired an independent wedding planner instead of using one
of the more impersonal large travel company wedding services.
Lindos will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will
definitely be returning one day, when we hope to track you down.
