An amazing location, hundreds of meters high in
the mountains of Filerimos, south Rhodes town,
with most spectacular views, This historic monastery
dates from the rule of the Knights and was built in the
early 14th century and the church, which stands within
the monastery, gives the impression of a medieval
castle with round domes. Many of the original features
still exist - most amazingly the beautiful mosaic floor.
Surrounded by cypress trees and lush vegetation this
makes a wonderfully tranquil spot to exchange your
wedding vows.
Please note there is a small entrance fee.
Ceremonies are conducted outside the grounds,
however special licence can be obtained if you
wish to marry within. |
